Gomti Chakras are sacred shells found on the bank of the holy Gomti River which flows in central Uttar Pradesh state in North India. They are also called Cow’s eye shell, cat’s eye shall and Naag-Chakra. The identity of Gomti Chakra is its white colour and coiled features on the flat side. Its formation also imitates the great Sudarshan Chakra (the weapon of Lord Vishnu/Krishna) and Shaligram (one of the forms of Lord Vishnu). As per a belief, keeping/worshipping Gomti Chakra and Shaligram together fetches unbelievable results and divine blessings.

These revered shells are related to Lord Vishnu & Goddess Lakshmi. Some also relate Gomti Chakras to Lord Krishna. Gomti Chakras are rich with the goodness of prosperity, happiness, good luck, health and growth. A place where Gomti Chakra is established never remains devoid of resources, money, groceries, and good health.

Gomti Chakra is one of the most used articles in Tantra Sadhna. There are multiple small remedies (Totkas) performed using the Gomti Chakras to manifest the desired results. Some of the intriguing Gomti Chakra uses are given below:

• To get rid of the evil eye: Take three Gomti Chakras, rotate seven times anti-clockwise from the head, go to an isolated place, throw Gomti Chakras backside, and return home. Remember, after throwing them, do not look back.
• To save progeny: In case of frequent miscarriages, take two pieces of Gomti Chakra, tie them in a red cloth, and tie them around the waist of the woman. It will protect the womb and prevent miscarriage.
• To grow your business: Take two pieces of Gomti Chakras, bind them and hang them on the threshold of the shop or office from where your customers/clients enter.
• To win court cases: To escalate the chances of victory in a court case, take one piece of Gomti Chakra, keep it outside the house, and keep the right foot on it while going to the hearing; you will win the case. You can also keep three Gomti Chakras in your pocket while going for a hearing.
• For promotion: To get a long-due promotion, offer a Gomti Chakra to the Shivling and pray for your promotion; you will get it soon.
• To grow money: Take eleven Gomti Chakras, tie them in a yellow cloth, and keep them in the locker; money will shower onto you.
• To destroy enemies: Take a Gomti chakra on the day of Holi, put a little Sindoor on it, pronounce the enemy’s name and put the Gomti Chakra in the fire of Holika Deehan; your enemy will get destroyed.
• To maintain peace & happiness: For general happiness, keep a Gomti Chakra in the small box of Sindoor at home.
• To get rid of Tantrik attacks: On the day of Holi, take seven pieces of Gomti Chakras, tie them in a cloth (1.25 meter), rotate them above the family and flow in the river. This remedy will keep the family protected from Tantrik effects.
• To recover from illness: Take four Gomti Chakras and tie one to each corner of the patient’s bed; the patient will begin to recover. Once the patient is fully recovered, bury these Gomti Chakras under a Peepal tree.
• To attract positive energy: Gomti Chakras are full of positive energy and release the same wherever present. People establish, wear or keep Gomti Chakras in their pocket & purse to keep positive energy, divine blessing and luck with them throughout. People use Gomti Chakras as good luck amulets.
